The Wild-Life Holiday Day Camps mission is to give every child the opportunity to explore outdoor play in the natural environment and learn about the natural sciences. We have developed a unique childcare experience which encourages each child to learn, grow and develop through the environment, capturing their imagination at the same time as imbedding deep values about the natural world they live in.
Everything in Wild-Life Camps is focused around being outdoors; each child has their own opportunity to go out as they choose without barriers to exploration, and if they choose to stay indoors we will bring the outdoors indoors to them!
The camp focuses on bush craft skills and nature play which support children to develop socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically and intellectually. We create a safe, nurturing environment for children to explore boundaries and take measured risks. Our approach to risk means that children constantly expand on their abilities by solving issues, building self-belief and resilience. There are risks in everything we do, and a child develops by exploring them.
Bush craft skills inspire a deep and meaningful connection to the world and an understanding of how a child fits within it. The types of activities include natural den building, wood whittling and fire skills, to actively invite creativity into a child’s day. These camps are focussed on age appropriate development with an inviting environment for children to confidently explore.
My daughter Lucy loved your club at Cleves and she’s a tough critic!! She has tried umpteen holiday clubs and today was the first one EVER she has enjoyed.
Thank you so much for your help, Treetops have been amazing in making Isabel feel welcome at Bishops Waltham Juniors and the staff are always smiley and very helpful!
The team was so supportive, creative and simply delightful in welcoming my daughter with bundles of energy, ensuring she enjoyed every single day with them. Absolutely incredible and I highly recommend them.
The Manager and staff support children to develop their confidence and to take responsibility for tasks. They are happy and confident in the warm and safe environment.
